Lauryn Watkins
Lauryn Watkins grew up dancing at Central Oklahoma Dance Center, where she trained for 16 years and received numerous awards and scholarships for her excellence in dance. She was a 4-year member of the Ada High Couganns, where she earned the title of state champion and was honored as an All-State dancer. Lauryn also danced with Level Up All Stars for three years, earning an additional state championship, and was a member of Bloom Dance Company.
Lauryn was selected to attend the prestigious Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute for two consecutive years, further expanding her training and artistic development. She has trained with top instructors across the country, constantly seeking new ways to grow as both a dancer and performer.
Currently, Lauryn is a student at the University of Oklahoma, where she is a member of the OU Pom Squad. She is majoring in Health and Exercise Science on the pre-med track with a minor in Dance. Lauryn is beyond excited to begin her first year teaching at CODC and looks forward to giving back to the studio that has always felt like home, sharing her passion and love for dance with the next generation.
